The Top Five Seinfeld Episodes Of All Time On Satellite

The Top Five Seinfeld Episodes Of All Time On Satellite Tv

When Seinfeld wrapped its last season in 1998, it ended the run of one of televisions greatest shows. When it was all said and done, everyone was familiar with the neuroses of George and the nuttiness of Kramer, as well as Jerry and Elaines distinct antics. Flipping through a satellite TV guide, youll see the fascination with Seinfeld continues, with networks like TBS HD and Fox HD airing episodes nightly. Here are the top five episodes of all time.

5. The Wink. Due to some misplaced grapefruit juice, George starts winking uncontrollably, making everyone believe hes got something up his sleeve. Meanwhile, Kramer has accidentally given away a birthday card for George Steinbrenner signed by the whole Yankees team and needs Paul ONeill to hit two home runs to get it back. One of the great Yankees and Seinfeld moments.

4. The Implant. In the world of Seinfeld, etiquette is very important. In this famous episode, George gets a lesson in chip etiquette from his girlfriends brother at a wake. Claiming George double-dipped a chip and violated the code of ethics, George displays nonchalance. Tempers flare and leads to an all-out brawl in the solemn setting, another blemish on poor Georges character. One of the funniest moments in television history, satellite TV cant help replaying this episode on a regular basis.

3. The Abstinence. After starting a smoking lounge in his apartment, Kramers health and image deteriorate rapidly. Upon visiting his excitable lawyer, Johnny Chile sees the potential for one of his signature lawsuits. While Big Tobacco suggests Kramer merely has enhanced his rugged masculinity Chile insists he is hideous and threatens a case. Will Kramer go to court or settle outside, unbeknownst to his attorney? Merely asking the question gives the answer, but watch the ridiculous path Kramer takes to get there.

2. The Library. Jerry is being harassed by the public library, which claims he never returned a book due decades ago. He finally agrees to go down and see the library detective, Bookman. While Bookman lectures Seinfeld in the harshest fashion, George and Jerry flash back to high school to find out what happened with Tropic of Cancer. Meanwhile, as Kramer starts an affair with a young librarian, Bookman turns up the heat. Probably the greatest cameo in Seinfeld history, Philip Baker Halls Bookman is one tough monkey who wont give in until guys like Seinfeld are exposed. Dont miss this episode on TBS HD broadcasts.

1. The Boyfriend. While Jerry befriends and Elaine dates former Mets star Keith Hernandez, Kramer has a bone to pick with his friends. Not only does Kramer hate him, but claims Hernandez actually spit on him one day after Newman called him a pretty-boy. By diagramming how the magic spit could not have hit both Newman and Kramer, Jerry establishes a second-spitter theory and enlightens the gang. A brilliant parody of JFK, this routine is Jerry at his best.
